Meizu MX3 – a 128 GB, octa-core smartphone available in China
New models from China constantly push the boundaries in the mobile business. Now, world’s first 128 GB smarphone is available in the country, priced at $660. As you probably know, the Chinese vendors are not distinguished by their originality, instead they bet on copying and improving popular models and offering brand new products at prices far below the leading smartphone OEMs.
The smartpone dubbed Meizu MX3 first appear in a set of rumors in July and it was made official in September. All leaks and rumors were quite varied in terms of specifications; however, one specific part has kept our attention – the internal storage. Meizu MX3 has probably the largest storage ever seen in a smartphone with its 128 GB. There is no micro SD slot included, but who would want that, if such storage is included.
Aside from its 128 GB internal space, the Meizu MX3 includes a 5.1-inch display with an 1800 x 1080 pixel resolution with a strange ratio of 15:9 which is uncommon for a smartphone. The processor is a powerful octa core Exynos 5410 with unspecified GHz. As you can see, Meizu MX3 is a nice offering – it is the first non- Samsung device to offer an octa-core processor inside. The new model will be launched in China only, so it is compatible with China’s TD-SCDMA network or with any other 2G network around the globe. At present, there is no word on international launch, but you will be informed as soon as Meizu reveal its plans for more countries. The price of the MX3 in China is CN 3999 or around $660. If you live there, just go to JD.com and order the 5.1 inch smartphone with 128 GB storage.
