Pixel Phones Can Now Download Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2!
For owners of a Google Pixel phone that is supported, beta 2 of Android 13 QPR1 is now available.
For the Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a, this updated Android 13 QPR1 Beta 2 release is now available. It will arrive on your device as build T1B2.220916.004 and should be a relatively minor update compared to the prior Beta 1.
We’ll have to dig in to see whether there have been any changes because Google didn’t give any noteworthy release notes.
You can manually flash the factory image or OTA files below to download the update. However, using the Android Beta Program will be the simplest route. Register for it Android Beta Program.
If you are a developer with a supported Google Pixel device, you can manually update that device to the latest build for testing and development. You’ll need to do a full device reset, so make sure to back up your data first. Builds are only available for the following Pixel devices:
- Pixel 4a and 4a (5G)
- Pixel 5 and Pixel 5a
- Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro
- Pixel 6a
Once a beta build has been flashed to your Pixel device, it is automatically enrolled in the Android Beta for Pixel program and will get ongoing over-the-air (OTA) updates with the most recent beta builds (including QPRs) until you decide to remove that device from the program. In order to provide you the flexibility to choose the strategy that works best for your test environment, we also deliver flashable images at each milestone.
