LG is producing the screen for Apple iWatch, new rumors reveal

One of the most anticipated smartwatches that is an object of rumors and speculations is the Apple iWatch. The leaks and the speculations about the iWatch suggest different theories about the releasing of the device. The recent rumors we heard reveal that the launching of the Apple iWatch might be delayed because of manufacturing issues.
Now a new gossip about the wearable tech grabs attention. According to sources close to Apple the manufacturer of the screen for the Apple iWatch will be the mobile giant LG. The tipsters reveal that the smartwatch will be equipped with curved Plastic OLED screen similar to what LG has integrated in the LG G Flex. The sources claim that LG will produce around 2 million units of the smartwatch.
The panels for the gadget come with dimensions of 1.52-inches. There is still not information about the resolution of the displays. The tipsters suggest that the launch date of the iWatch will happen between July and September this year. The rumored price is $149-$229. The new rumor sheds more light on the plans for the launching of the smartwatch. It seems that the speculations that the development of the Apple iWatch is still in very early stages are not true, if we can trust the sources.
It is still a mystery whether the model will be released with separate versions for men and women. The expectations towards the smartwatch are sky high. The original plans of Apple were to release the device around the arrival of the advanced timepiece Samsung Galaxy Gear. The date was pushed back to sometime in 2014.
