Huawei shows a new version of the Emotion UI, video available
The new edition of Emotion UI, Huawei’s developed Android based interaction system offering customizable home screen, apps, themes switching and more, has been revealed. So far, Huawei has been known with its modest innovations. Now, the company announces the new version of their own Emotion UI with its unique design and sensible features. The first edition of the software was launched almost a year ago. In July 2013, the company announced the overlay Emotion UI with the intention to give to the users the possibility of easy customization and modification of the stock Android version. The new software version will be released in the coming months, HTC says.
In the updated version Huawei has focused even more on the customization and simplicity. At least, we can see that on the video preview, available online. There will be an improved home screen, while the UniHome will be dubbed, combining the settings and app for a quick access to everything you need. With the new version, Emotion UI will offer the consumers the possibility of easy downloading of themes from the Huawei’s servers, similar to the launchers like Go Launcher EX. Additionally, some new applications and functionalities have been added – like gesture control and Power Manager for expanding the battery life. There will be also a Security Manager for a better optimization and malware protection and Cloud+ which offers you a better synchronization between devices.
With the Emotion UI Huawei is doing almost the same as Sony and Samsung. Both companies also developed similar Android customization solutions available in some of the devices. With the new update, Huawei aims at offer its products to more potential users, those looking for high-customization capabilities. We will wait to see how far could Huawei go with the development and the features, but one is sure- the new software Emotion UI is appealing.
