HTC One and HTC One Mini will be getting a minor update
Do you own HTC One or HTC One Mini? If yes, we have good news for you! Both devices will get updates soon with some improvements in the software and the UI. HTC has already begun to roll-out the updates, so be sure you check your device frequently for notifications.
HTC One will be getting the firmware new build with size of 31.66MB. It is the so called over-the-aid (OTA) update. We recently shared with you the upcoming new accessory HTC Mini+ which is the second generation of HTC Mini. The small device supports the most basic capabilities of the main HTC unit and brings extra convenience for users. The new update will arrive with support for Mini+ and for Google keyboard, which is another practical accessory that is worth trying. The accessory enables you to take calls, to get notifications and to work with it as a remote controller. The new version is called 2.24.401.8.
The smaller sibling of the flagship, the HTC One Mini will be updated with 1.31.401.1 version. It is 23.32MB big. The most important improvements that it will assure for the device are more stability in the “car mode” of the phone and enriched functionality of the camera. In addition, the update brings fixes for an issue that the device experienced with the movie playback via Google Play.
