Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo officially presented in two versions
Samsung is having the busiest time in the history of the company releasing series of high-end and mid-range models. In the beginning of the year we shared rumors and leaks about the upcoming Neo phablets that boast lower-end specs compared to the original models. Samsung Poland has just unveiled the anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Most of the specs and the features of the device were already revealed in previous leaks. As expected, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be available in two options with support for 3G and with LTE connectivity. The models are equipped with the same specs, except the processors and the connectivity features.
Both devices arrive with 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720p. They run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean pre-installed. The new phablets support S Pen Stylus. They boast an 8MP rare camera paired with 2MP front camera. The provided RAM in the models is 2GB. There are 16GB storage on board. Users that prefer to work with more memory can expand it via microSD slot. The new large-sized smartphones sport the same design, similar to the Galaxy Note 3. The dimensions of the panels are 148.4 x 77.4 x 8.6 mm with attractive appearance and the faux leather back plate, characteristic for the advanced model. Both models support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, IR, GPS and NFC. The type of battery that gives juice to the new devices is with a capacity of 3100mAh. All these specs are provided for two variants of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo.
The differences are in the processor and the connectivity of the devices. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE+ is powered by a hexa-core Exynos processor ticking at 1.7GHz (the A15 cores) and at 1.3GHz (the A7 cores). The “+” sign in the name of the device is included because of the provided support for LTE Cat 4 150 / 50 Mb/s. In the heart of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo 3G is working quad-core silicon ticking at 1.6GHz.
According to the press release of Samsung Poland the new models will be released in February worldwide. They will be available in green, white and black.
