New leak reveals a white version of DROID Mini
Motorola DROID Mini brings quite a package of specs and capabilities for a small-sized Android smartphone. It boasts a 4.3-inches LCD display with 720p resolution. The pixel density is very decent – 342ppi. It is powered by dual-core processor set at 1.7MHz with 2GB RAM on board and the Motorola X8 system. The internal memory of the DROID Mini is 16GB. The model stands out with a great camera for its class – a 10MP rare shooter. There is a 2MP front camera for video calls. Under the hood of the smartphone works a battery with 2000mAh which provides juice for long hours for the device.
Motorola DROID Mini arrives with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. The good news for the current or the future owners of the smartphone is that it is in the list with models that will be updated with Android 4.4 KitKat. The great package of features brings everything the model users need. The appearance of the phone stands out with a sleek design and compact body. If there is only one thing that the DROID Mini lacks is the poor choice of color options for the device. When the smartphone was released together with its bigger siblings Motorola DROID Maxx and Motorola DROID Ultra, it was available in Verizon only in black shell. Few weeks ago we welcomed the red DROD Mini that is definitely very liked by users.
Just before the snowy holidays Motorola is planning to release a new variant for the phone dressed in white shell. The source of the leak is the famous @evleaks. The tipster tweeted a render photo of DROID Mini in white showing its face and rare panel in high-resolution photos. We can see the Verizon tattoo on the back and the sleek snowy paint covering the whole body of the phone. The overall design and the specs of the new model are the same as the black and the red DROID Mini. There are rumors that Motorola will add a white version to the DROID Ultra model as well, but there is no confirmation of this gossip yet. It is still unknown when the white DROID Mini will be available for sales. The most logical time is right before holidays, or with other words – anytime now.
