Samsung Galaxy S4 mini ready for pre-orders in Australian carriers
Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is on its way to conquer the international markets and now it has reached Australia. To be fair, the device has not arrived in the country just yet, but it is already available for pre-orders in the two biggest local mobile operators, Optus and Telstra. The news comes only a few weeks after the handset was officially unveiled in the country. Both carriers have begun sending emails with more details about the pre-orders. The good news for Aussies is that both mobile operators will offer the Galaxy S4 mini variant with dual-SIM and support for LTE connectivity. In fact, the handset will support all types LTE not only in Australia, but in every corner in of the planet where such network is provided, which is rather exciting news. The carrier Telstra has added a free Fitbit Flex in the package with the smartphone. With this addition to the deal, it is even more tempting to get the device especially for those of you who would use the health-related features of Galaxy S4 mini.
The mini version of the flagship of Samsung was officially introduced few months ago. It is equipped with a 4.3-inches screen with qHD capabilities and a resolution of 960x540p. The phone works with a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.7GHz. It has 1.5GB RAM to boast the excellent performance of the device. The handset is offered in two versions with 8GB or 16GB built-in memory which can be increased. Samsung Galaxy S4 mini run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and provides some of the characteristic for Samsung features, like S Voice, S Travel, Smarty Stay etc. The smartphone is provided with two cameras – a 5MP snapper on the back panel and a 1.9MP camera on the front. It has all the modern connectivity features, like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and LTE. The battery of the phone is 1.900mAh.
