Windows Phone app for your PC or Microsoft Surface
Windows Store has started offering the Windows Phone app. This replaces the Zune client and allows your Windows Phone 8 PC or your Microsoft Surface tablet to interact with your Windows Phone 8 device to move your videos, music and pictures back and forth. Videos you move from your Windows Phone 8 handset to your Windows 8 PC or Microsoft Surface tablet are automatically saved on your phone. With this app, you can always check how much space you’ve used for each type of content, so you don’t run out of space on your phone.
Additionally, having this app, WindowsPhone.com will allow you to find out if your phone is lost, to download apps or to find out more information about your phone.
