What should we expect from Google I/O 2013?
Google I/O 2013 is coming in 3 days. The event will take place in the Moscone Center in San Francisco between May 15 and May 17 and every Android supporter is full of anticipation about the announcements which will be made during the conference. But this time will be different. Unlike the previous years, Google announced just one keynote on the schedule published earlier – and we suggest that within these few hours on May 15 will be revealed most anticipated news about Google. Now, let’s recap all the information we have so far about the possible announcements during the Google I/O 2013.
First, the Ingress game could be announced. For those of you not familiar, Ingress is a virtual world, and you explore it, collect objects and discover mysterious power. At the beginning you should make an important choice – will you be with the Enlightened or with the Resistance. Even though the game is not expected to be difficult, it would be definitely time-consuming, according to the analyzers. We will see the Ingress officially during Google I/O – there are 3 Ingress events at the conference and all I/O attendees are invited to participate.
Another announcement at Google I/O could be the Game Center. It is expected to arrive with real-time support, in-game chatting, multiplayer support, achievements and other features. Google Now could be also a main topic during the conference. We may see Google Now as a part of Android 4.3 and connected with the desktop.
Another possible topic could be Google Babel – or so called unified message service. According to our information, Google could combine Google Talk and Google + Hangouts in one service. There are some rumors saying the future name of the platform will be just Hangouts, but we should wait for some official statement at Google I/O in a few days. As we informed you, the next Android version is expected to be 4.3, instead of Key Lime Pie. That is all we know, but could Google surprise us all again and reveal something completely unexpected? Yes, that’s why we are even more excited.
