Verizon cuts the price of Moto X by $50, now costs $49 on a contract through Moto Maker
When Motorola Moto X was officially launched the carrier AT&T was the exclusive provider of the Moto Maker tool which is the main reason that makes the flagship so special. Thanks to the unique feature customers of AT&T can customize their own units to be unique and extraordinary with the color combinations that fit their style and preferences. It is needless to say that AT&T was proud to be the only one in the world (Moto X is launched in the US only) to offer the Moto Maker possibility. Recently it became clear that more mobile operators will be providing the Moto Maker tool to their customers. This week the carrier Verizon officially launched the feature for the new owners of Moto X. And that is not all that the mobile operator has to offer for its customers. The company is cutting the price of Moto X (subsidized on two year contract) by the significant $50. When we do the math, it means that Moto X can be purchased from Verizon for the modest $49 on a contract (down from $99 recent price).
The drastic cut in the price aims to attract more customers to buy the flagship before the holidays. The overall sales of Moto X are far from satisfying as the published report on Monday reveals. One of the reasons for the slower interest for the device compared to the predictions might be because the Moto Maker was available only in AT&T. The expectations for the Q1 of 2014 include increasing in the sales due to the enriched possibilities for users to customize their units. The new lowest price for Moto X is already available in Verizon.
The holiday season is coming so this is only the beginning of the abundance of irresistible offers and bargains that the mobile operators are preparing. If you are considering buying the high-end Moto X, the deal offered by Verizon is rather tempting. It is available from today to 18th of November.
