Update and integration for Instagraph and Metrogram
Just few weeks ago the idea of the integration between Instagraph and Metrogram was announced. The bi-directional integration gives a lot more possibilities to users of both apps and now they will be able to seamlessly use Instagraph and Metrogram. While this is great news, it is not something we have not seen happening with other apps.
Why is this integration so important? The most excited about the integration are Windows Phone 8 users. Until recently, they could use Instagraph in a very limited way. For instance, the app did not allow opening of a new Instagram account through it, there was a limitation of only three pictures taken per day and even more annoying limitation was the impossibility to view the newly added pictures that you have uploaded to Instagram.
The update from this week will bring a lot of changes in the app that will enrich significantly the Instagram experience for Windows Phone 8 users. After Instragraph integrates with Metrogram, users will be able to look at their followers’ pictures and even the pictures to users that they follow on Instagram. There is also a possibility to search hashtags and accounts and see the pictures of your account that have been “liked” by other users. More options that you will have include a wide choice of colors for the photo border when you use the crop tool. You can also write comments from Instagram feeds; you can receive notifications and edit your profile. Windows Phone 8 users have a lot to explore with this new update. The Phone 7.x users can also get the update of Instagraph except the integration with Metrogram.
Metrogram has been just updated few hours ago. Those who want to try how the integration works first should update both apps. After that, Instagraph users can start using Metrogram by just choosing “M” on the page and the menu of the integrated app shows up. Instagraph can be found at Windows Phone Store at the price of $0.99. Mestrogram is also there, free of charge.
Instagram fans have more options to use, if they don’t prefer the both apps mentioned above. Another great app is Itsdagram, which is also available at Windows Phone Store.
