True or False – Galaxy S4 with an LTE-Advanced support already in testing
Rumors for new and interesting versions of Samsung Galaxy S4 appear so frequently on the mobile world that fans of Galaxy S4 will be absolutely satisfied with the choice of devices that completely meets their expectations. The newest speculations from end of the week gave a hint for the existing of Samsung Galaxy S4, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The work name of the handset is SHV-E33OS. Originally the device is purposed for the Asian market, more specifically for South Korea. The date of arrival of the smartphone was expected to be later in the year, without further details for the exact day and place. What we know so far is that Samsung Galaxy S4 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor will boast another great feature – a support for LTE-Advanced.
The screenshots of the supposed device (let’s not forget that it is not official yet) reveal a bit more about the phone in terms of software. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The processor under the hood is expected to work on 2265MHz. However, the performance of the new version of the handset is actually lower than the original model of Galaxy S4. Look the table below that shows the results of benchmark test of AnTuTu comparing the performance of several devices. The table reveals that Exynos 5 Octa (GT-I9500) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 (GT-I9505) have a better performance than the rumored SHV-E33OS; however we should not forget that the new Samsung Galaxy S4 model might be still under work.
We are looking forward to see the new Samsung Galaxy S4 with an LTE-Advanced support and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor in a few months, when it is expected to be released in South Korea (there are speculations that it will arrive in September).
