The update XE8 for Google Glass is already rolling-out
The new update for Google Glass, the XE8 is already launched by Google and since yesterday it has begun rolling-out to owners of the Glass. The innovative wearable computing device by Google is still not available for regular customers and the company has not revealed yet when, where and for how much we will be able to get the breakthrough Android running device. The consistency of Google in releasing updates with improvements of the features and the functionality of the Glass makes us even more impatient to see the device more widely used in the tech world.
Those of you who already own a unit of the wearable computing device will be getting the update within days. What are the benefits of the new build for the Glass? The first most noticeable thing is the improvement in the voice commands. Now users of the Glass can enrich their experience with the social networking apps by using voice commands to “Post and Update” on Path and “Take a note” on Evernote again using their voice.
Those new features are demanded by the most active users that are always in move and want to save time with the voice commands instead of recording messages on the mobile devices. The voice commands improve the Navigation app as well. You can use your voice for the commands “Show/Hide Route Overview” and “Stop Directions.” One of the most favored improvements that come with the update is the new Google Now cards. They include reservations for movies, restaurants, events as well as alerts for birthdays and occasions and even the new option to send a message right away after you get the reminder. With the new Google Now cards you can get current information about the traffic and alternate routs that can get you to your destination in the fastest way.
