The new 4.1 version of Instagram app brings video support and new tool for straightening of photos
Do you love taking photos with your phone and sharing them on Instagram? If yes, you will enjoy the news that the new update of the Instagram app has arrived with a lot of new features for Android and iOS users. The 4.1 version of the app includes the capability to import video that you have captured with your smartphone, directly to your profile in Instagram. The new tools in the feature enable users to crop the videos and manage how the clips are displayed, including the option “front and center” to present the action in the video.
The previous update of Instagram arrived with a video support for Android phones and tablets that work over Android 4.1 and up. The new with this 4.1 version of the app is the compatibility of this feature for all Android running devices that work over Ice Cream Sandwich. This is only part of the improvements of the Instagram app for Android users.
Users of the iOS platform will also be satisfied by the 4.1 version of the app. Now, they can straighten out the pictures they are capturing and sharing on Instagram via a simple tap on the display. If you want to capture better leveled photos, you can use the in-app camera. Tap on the Straighten icon and you will see how the photo instantly becomes level. If you decide to use the camera app on the phone instead of the in-app camera for taking photos or if you want to level up pictures that are already stored in your gallery, you can use the tool with the sliding scale and you will easily adjust the pictures to be as level as you want.
The update for the Instagram app is free for download. You can find it – here at Apple App Store for iOS devices, and here at Google Play Store for Android phones and tablets.
