The Galaxy S23 Ultra is more likely to have a 200MP camera
Thanks to leaked renders, we got our first real glimpse at the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra earlier this week. However, there have been several leaks about the phone’s specifications as well. Another source has now confirmed a rumor that the Ultra model will contain a 200MP camera. This claim has surfaced a few times.
According to “knowledge that has reached us,” Dutch outlet Galaxy Club has now asserted that the Galaxy S23 Ultra would surely sport a 200MP main camera. However, it was silent on the specific sensor that was employed.
The outlet’s assertion follows previous ones made by social media insider Ice Universe and a Korean news website that the phone would sport a 200MP sensor. So it appears as though there is growing support for this camera upgrade.
The Moto flagship phone has a 200MP sensor (HP1) and you’re looking at a 4 in 1 photo, 50MP. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will also use 200MP, but the relevant sensor has not been announced. pic.twitter.com/Fc8JzCppKp

But Samsung wouldn’t be the first to offer a 200MP smartphone; Motorola has already introduced the X30 Pro in China and the Edge 30 Ultra in international markets. Other than that, it is anticipated that the S23 Ultra will provide a similar camera setup as the S22 Ultra. Thus, a 10x periscope shooter, a 3x telephoto lens, and an ultrawide lens are used. But further information won’t be available till we wait and see.
