Sprint announces the LG G Flex arrival on January 31, pre-orders have begun
LG G Flex available on Sprint starting from January 31
World’s first curved smartphone, the LG G Flex, is coming to the States and Sprint customers are the first who can get the handset in the US. Sprint promises you will have the G Flex by January 31 if you pre-order it through the carrier’s webpage. All future owners of the LG G Flex could benefit from the advanced Spark LTE / 4G network allowing higher speeds (up to 60 Mbps), online gaming and video streaming and other exclusive services requiring high-speeds such as cloud storage and apps.
G Flex can be pre-ordered now for $299.99 with a two year contract while the sales in the retail stores begin on February 7, Sprint and LG announced. All customers who pre-order the phone until January 31 will get free Folio cases for their new devices (or gifts for $59.99 each). After February 7, you can get the phone with the Easy Pay program – customers who want to purchase the LG G Flex can pay $149.99 up-front, plus 24 payments of $20.84.
LG G Flex has a 6-inch curved screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It offers high ergonomics and cinematic viewing experience. In addition to the curved body, LG G Flex packs a curved battery that allows customers to enjoy richer and long-lasting experience. Due to its unique design, the distance between the microphone and the mouth is reduced while the phone is held against the ear during talks. Other features on this model include a quad-core Snapdragon processor at 2.26 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
