Sony Xperia L and Sony Xperia SP prices revealed
After we saw Sony Xperia Z announced and released, we were expecting that Sony will take care of its mid-range line-up with something new. And a few hours ago this happened. Sony announced two new devices – Sony Xperia L and Sony Xperia P. At first we did not know how much they will cost and when Sony will release them, but now the price is revealed and we the only info missing now is when to expect them.
Sony Xperia SP will provide you with a scratch-resistant display. It will be 4.6’’ in size and will be powered by the TFT technology. The resolution will be 1280×720 pixels and the pixel density – 319 pixels per inch. The smartphone employs Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and comes with a dual-core chip Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.7GHz. This is accompanied by 1GB of operative memory and 8GB storage capacity (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). The other specs include two cameras – a rear 8MP shooter and a front VGA camera for video chat, 2370mAh and 4G LTE support. The device is PlayStation Certified and comes with Jelly Bean 4.1. Sony’s price for it is 399 euro in Italy and the Netherlands and 419 euro in Germany.
That was the better smartphone. The more modest of the duo is Sony Xperia L with 4.3’’ FWVGA display and dual-core Snapdragon S4 by Qualcomm clocked at 1GHz. It is backed up with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage capacity (again extendable up to 32 with the help of microSD), two cameras – a front 0.3MP and a rear 8MP one with HDR for the video and the pictures, Android Jelly Bean and 1750mAh battery. The device will cost 279 euro in the Netherlands and 299 euro in Italy and Germany.
