Samsung Galaxy S5 dimensions leak in a render
Leaked renders surfaced online to note the written dimensions of Galaxy S5
The huge countdown until Samsung’s Unpacked 5 has begun and we all know to expect nothing less than the hot-topic Samsung Galaxy S5. Of course, these possible last days will be dedicated to the device and the speculations are set to invade the web more than ever.
This time we might be getting new details for the fifth generation Galaxy S in terms of the handset’s actual size. In order to spoil all the fun of the surprise (which no one really minds), a bunch of leaked renders surfaced online to note the written dimensions of the device. As usual, the source remains unknown, but in case the information is accurate and insiders did get a glimpse at the actual render, the upcoming Galaxy S5 will be 5.58 long, 2.8 wide and 0.32 thin that in comparison to the current flagship model Samsung Galaxy S4 is much bigger.
In a quick reminder, the predecessor of Galaxy S5 sports 5.37 in long, 2.7 in wide and 0.31 in thin. In case the information is accurate and those dimensions seem to be the real case, then the Korean company might be pulling out something like Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with a larger screen but not significantly wider than the previous model.
Other than the dimensions, the leaked renders don’t add more details to the pack of spoilers we’ve been gathering for weeks now. In all, the future model will rock our socks with a 5.25-inches display and the latest powerhouse by Qualcomm- the Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The built in storage combos will differ from 32GB to 128GB, because ‘the more the more’’. Another leak points out to a 16-megapixel main snapper in the back side of the device that will be coupled with a 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera in front. And, the best part is, we won’t expect anything less than the latest Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
