AnTuTu benchmark reveals the specifications of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2
2013 has just passed and now we are waiting for the big event in February 2014, the CES in Barcelona. This is a very significant show for the mobile world, since the largest manufactures are expected to unveil their plans for 2014 in terms of hardware and software. The largest company today, Samsung, is preparing a new ultra big tablet for 2014 called Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Ahead of the Consumer Electronic Show, AnTuTu reveals some of the possible specs of the new tablet codenamed SM-P905
The new Galaxy Note Pro tablet will probably arrive as the largest Android tablet model up to date, with a screen that measures 12.2 inches across diagonals. In previous leaks it was said that the company is preparing two different sizes. Like other manufacturers, Samsung is trying to establish itself in the market segment of the ultra-big tablets, since the market of small size devices is already overcrowded with 7-inch models and a variety of ultra-big smartphones.
The 12.2 inch Note Pro tablet will be running a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz with 3 GB of RAM. There will be an Adreno 330 graphics and a display resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will sport an 8 MP camera on the back side and a 2.1 MP front facing camera, according to the AnTuTu benchmark.
The tablet will be introduced with an S Pen stylus and some other features that remain a mystery. According to rumors, the new ultra big tablet will probably arrive in two variants – with LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. There is a chance that the Wi-Fi version to arrive with a Exynos chip instead of Snapdragon.
