Samsung Galaxy Core officially announced
Samsung has made the new Galaxy Core official. Galaxy Core will have a single SIM and a double SIM version, unlike the rumors indicating that it will be offered only as a double SIM model. The dual SIM version offers you access to both SIM cards simultaneously. The new device is designed for consumers with a need for an optimal balance between productivity and portability. The display is 4.3 – inch with a resolution of 800 x 480 p. The GALAXY Core is powerful enough. It has a dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 1 GB of RAM, offering a dual processing power for seamless and effective operations. It has 8 GB of internal storage which you can expand using a microSD slot.
The Galaxy Core comes with a 5- megapixel camera on board. The battery has a capacity of 1800mAh. There are many other features for an enhanced user experience. Smart Stay is a facial recognition technology which recognizes when you are not looking at the phone and saves the battery. When you are not looking, the screen is dimmed and the device consumes less energy. Smart Alert is a feature which alarms you if you have some missed calls or messages when you pick up the phone. Motion UI allows you to activate simple functions by motion commands while S Voice provides voice functionality.
The Galaxy Core will run Android Jelly Bean with the TouchWiz interface. The dual SIM version will be released first – in May, followed by the single SIM version in July. Depending on the location, some users can have an access only to one of the versions – double SIM or single SIM. The price range is yet to be officially unveiled, but according to previously leaked information the Galaxy Core will cost around $415 for the dual SIM version.
