Samsung ATIV Odyssey at CES
The Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone was successfully introduced at CES.
We already know quite a lot about this device. The Samsung ATIV Odyssey is an entry-level Windows Phone, built with the same form factors found with other Samsung devices, volume rocker on the left side, removable back plate and Super AMOLED display. It is very comfortable to hold in the hand and is light-weight. The display is 4-inches, WVGA 480×800 resolution, and sports a standard 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 2,100 mAh battery, and a 5MP camera.
The ATIV Odyssey has all the features of the Windows Phone experience, though NFC and wireless charging are not present.
Samsung has included also a couple of their own apps on board, such as the Samsung Now – a centralized weather, news and stocks app, and the Mini Diary – a note app with the ability to record location and draw sketches as well.
Samsung did not however inform about the official release date or the expected price for the ATIV Odyssey.
