Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite has entered production
It would replace the Super AMOLED HD screen with an LCD panel
As we already clarified, the first quarter of 2014 will be quite a busy one for Samsung. That is in case all the rumors and leaks are true. The company will have to deal with the OIS camera issue, start producing the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 and the next generation Samsung Galaxy Gear and a bunch of other anticipated smart devices that the companies’ fans are awaiting with open arms.
Speaking of rumors, recently we were tipped for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite and another big screen monster Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite. We can always rely on the fact that the Korean media will leak more information to shed light on each of those hot topics, and today we weren’t disappointed.
According to ETNews, the production of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite has already started and will give a kickstart to a brand new device that will be more affordable than its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Well, it would replace the Super AMOLED HD screen with an LCD panel, but we all have reached an agreement, that LCD screens have their advantages as well, remember? Previously, the Galaxy Note 3 Lite was rumoured to launch in two different sizes- a 5.5-incher and a 5.7-incher, however the newest report claims that the device has enter production only with the original screen size of Galaxy Note 3- 5.7-inches.
The camera will also be modest compared to the one we can find in Galaxy Note 3, as the sources tip an 8-megapixel rare-shooter. As the device is suggested to be an entry-level one, it probably won’t feature a pack of full HD display or everyone’s favorite Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. But who knows?
The upcoming phablet is going to target the emerging markets and according to some sources, Samsung feels pretty optimistic and expects the Galaxy Note 3 Lite sales to amount to at least 30% of the total sales of the original model.
