Pebble smartwatch already available in Amazon
Only the black and red Pebble models are available to be sold directly
Meanwhile, if you remember the same livestream that was initiated on November 7, Pebble revealed that over 10,000 developers have been working on the new software and more than 2 million Pebble apps have been downloaded.
Few days ago Canadians rejoiced as the smartwatch arrived at Best Buy for $149.99, the same price as the device has been sold in the US. Keeping the pricing that other online retailers’ offer, Amazon entered the scene with a whole $1 off the price and free shipping. The Pebble smartwatch will cost you exactly $148.99 and that is basically what you pay for the smartwatch anywhere else.
Amazon is selling the Pebble smartwatch in black, white, grey, and red and orange but it appears that only the black and red Pebble models are available to be sold directly. For some weird reason, colors are that important and if you choose another retailer to provide yourself with a Pebble watch in another color, you’ll have to pay more money. No, seriously. What’s the big deal- it comes in different color, not with different hardware. So if you ask me, keep it classy and go with the classic black model.
Anyway, the device being available in Amazon is a big deal especially if we consider that the big shopping holiday season is coming. I bet the little fella is already in the shopping list of many people, so if you’re interested, hit the link and check the offer.
Off the record, Pebble smartwatch is going to have a Windows Phone support soon, as some Windows Phone third-party apps are already available.
