Lenovo was the first to introduce the idea of the 360 bending tablet running on Windows 8 with IdeaPad Yoga. It comes with more compact body, lighter and thinner. It sports a 13.3-inches display with a resolution of 3200x1800p. It arrives to compete on the convertible tablets’ arena against the modern Samsung ATIV Q.

The new Idea Pad Yoga 2 Pro is ultra-think, only 15 millimeters. It is very light – just 3 pounds. The innovative device comes with a backlit keyboard. It is very convenient and assures better functionality compared to the keyboard in its predecessor. The Idea Pad Yoga 2 Pro runs on Windows 8. It is powered by Intel Haswell processor 4th generation and the impressive 8GB RAM. It is needless to say that it provides blazing fast performance. The internal memory of the device is 512GB. In terms of connectivity, the new device supports Bluetooth 4.0 and provides 3.0 and 2.0 USB ports.

The new convertible laptop boasts up to 9 hours batter life. This is a great achievement by Lenovo, keeping in mind that usually the devices working with Intel Haswell under the hood are more battery consuming. Let’s not forget that Idea Pad Yoga 2 Pro is equipped with a display with very high resolution compared to its rivals in the mobile world which is also a challenge for the battery. In short – Lenovo had managed to develop a lighter device with great screen capabilities and very satisfying battery life.
