New leak with render photos of Verizon LG G Pad 8.3 surfaced on the web
LG G Pad 8.3 for Verizon appears in a new leak
In the end of January we shared the rumors that LG G Pad 8.3 will be released by Verizon. The news came soon after the launching of G Pad 8.3 Google Edition on Google Play Store. The gossips about the tablet did not reveal any further details about the date or the price of the alleged Verizon-branded device. Fortunately the tipster @evleaks once again sheds more light on this topic by sharing render photos of LG G Pad 8.3 posing for the camera with the Verizon’s tattoo on it. The carrier has not confirmed the rumors that it is planning to launch the tablet. However the increasing number of leaks and the latest strategy of the company to expand its product range with more tablets from different companies give us the clues that rumors will turn out to be true. We still have no launch date for the device, but the render photos clearly show the 27th of March on the display of the depicted G Pad 8.3. The date seems as the perfect time for the launching of the slate, especially if LG decides to present the model for Verzion soon.
A quick reminder about the specs of G Pad 8.3 includes an 8.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1200 x 1920p. The pixel density of the display is 273ppi. It is powered by a quad-core CPU 1.7GHz and 2GB RAM. The chipset in the configuration is Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. The storage provided in the model is 16GB (expandable). The G Pad 8.3 has a lot of advantages before its rivals of the same category. It is LTE-enabled and works with a very large battery with a capacity of 4600mAh. The main camera of the device is also very good for a slate – 5MP, set on the back. The LG G Pad 8.3 supports all the connectivity features you need, such as Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth. In runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. The price of the tablet is around $349 unlocked. We are eager to see how much Verizon will ask for it. Hopefully it will be announced soon.
