More news about FonePad – price and release date clues
There were a lot of hearsays about the new Asus project – the seven-inch tablet under the name FonePad. However, the official statement now seems to be approaching and the company is expected to announce the tablet at the end of February, in other words – at the World’s Mobile Congress for 2013.
One of the exciting things about the device is its aluminium back case, which is a big difference from the rubber-back Nexus. Surely, Asus want to try different possibilities and it will be no wonder if this works fine for the users. The must-have sign ‘Intel Inside’ is also included, and the future owners of the tablet may feel quite proud of the fact that they possess one of the best mobile processors in the world – the Atom ZS420 at rate of 1.2GHz.
Another of the phone specifications include IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800, graphic processor Power VR SGX540, 1GB operative memory, three variants for storage capacity – 8, 16, or 32GB and battery with life of 4270mAh. Of course, the tablet is backed up with Jelly Bean and the really slippery ‘’Project Butter’’.
And the predicted price for all these qualities will vary between $350 and $400. It will be a great opportunity for those high-tech fans with restricted funds and eagerness to put their hands on new devices.
