Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 to feature FullHD display and quad-core CPU
After the disappointing smartphone Canvas 4 that didn’t have the high-end features the Indian consumers so badly wanted, Micromax has decided to satisfy those who want a device that is a step closer to the high-end models available on the market. That’s why, the Indian Smartphone manufacturer will launch at least two new high-end models, suggested recent reports.
One of the new devices is named Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 – it is expected to pack a 1080p FullHD display. As yet, the exact screen size is not known, the A250 model is likely to include a quad-core MediaTek processor ticking over at 1.5 GHz. Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is rumored to feature only 1 GB, which is not so impressive for an Android-based high-end phone.
The operating system is tipped to be Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, which would be disappointing for those of you who want version 4.3. The graphic adapter is said to be a PowerVR clocked at 357 MHz, and the smartphone will probably include two cameras on board. The camera on the back will be 13 MP and it will capture HD videos. Around the front, the 5 MP shooter will be more than a decent for video calls. Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is likely to include 16 GB of 32 GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot.
Please, bear in mind that all the information presented here is based on unconfirmed rumors and sources. The Indian OEM hasn’t commented neither confirmed the rumors therefore you should take the information with a pinch of salt. If the specs are true, however, this would be a really competitive handset for the Indian market that would probably have a very attractive price tag.
