Lava Iris Pro 30 is the affordable Android smartphone with ultra-light and thin panel
The manufacturer Lava has just announced is new flagship named Lava Iris Pro 30. It is launched under the concept “Art meets Smart.” The new handset is ultra-thin and ultra-light with dimensions of 114g weight and 7.5mm thickness. The Iris Pro 30 arrives with a 4.7-inches IPD LCD display courtesy of Sharp. It boasts a resolution of 720p which means that the pixel density is 312ppi. As Lava shares, the phone is a “One Glass Solution” with a thinner panel with laminated Gorilla Glass. The model has a very long battery life thanks to the power saving technology Content Adaptive Backlight Control.
The company claims that it saves 30% battery life and makes the 2000mAh cell more reliable than most of the models in this category. The processor of Iris Pro 30 is a quad-core CPU ticking at 1.2GHz. It is still unknown what the chipset for the phone is, but the predictions are either for Cortex-A7 or MediaTek. The handset is working with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS pre-installed. Some of the features supported by the Iris Pro 30 are face and voice unlocking as well as lift to answer or make a call and flip to mute. The primary camera of the smartphone is 8MP with BSI sensor. It boasts a dual-LED flash and the capability to capture 1080p video. On the front panel is located a 3MP camera for video calls.
The Indian manufacturer offers the Iris Pro 30 for INR 16000 (equal to $260, €190). It is available for purchase in India. Lava draws attention of users to the capability of the model to work with quad-band in Europe, Asia and the US. The company has not revealed whether it will launch the Iris Pro 30 outside India. The phone sports sleek design with thin and light body and a decent package of specs. It is a mid-ranger that has everything the mobile users need on the go.
