Lamborghini is releasing a limited edition Antares smartphone
Antares is a $4,000 alternative of Motorola Moto G
Have you ever been in a situation where you had extra $4,000 with no idea how to spend them? Neither have I. But some people are wealthy enough to go for the most expensive equipment in a blink of an eye, because –face it- the best quality always comes with the biggest price. And when we talk about top quality, we can’t fail to mention Lamborghini. I did use ‘$4,000’ and ‘Lamborghini’ in one and the same paragraph, but I didn’t refer to the car.
Start your engines now, because Tonino Lamborghini is releasing a limited edition smartphone. Titled Antares, the $4,000 device is the new face of techno-luxury. Rich people will now be astonished to find out that there’s a smartphone that combines looks and performance at the highest quality.
In our language, Antares is a $4,000 alternative of Motorola Moto G that doesn’t look that sophisticated and fancy but costs $179. Tonino Lamborghini’s Antares is powered by a quad-core processor coated at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM and comes with 32G internal storage, however there’s a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. The cameras are 13-megapixel 1080p main snapper rear and 5-megapixel front shooter due, while the sound sys is an in-built Yamaha amplifier and speakers. See? Moto G. This makes me think they have to make a $6,000 Ferrari alternative to the Motorola Moto X, just because. No? Ok.
Antares will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, because it’s user-friendly and free. Somehow I take this with mixed feelings. I hope rich people won’t mind watching movies on a 960×540 screen.
The Antares will officially launch in December in Germany, Russia and China, followed by Italy, the UK and right behind during spring 2014, it will arrive in the US as well.
Lamborghini’s Antares will be a great addition to the A-club amongst members such as BlackBerry Z10 Porsche Edition, Tag Heuer Merediist 2 and Vertu Constellation.
