iOS 7 beta 6 ready for download earlier than expected
It seems like yesterday when Apple announced its completely redesigned and improved version iOS 7. Soon after the WWDC conference, the company begun to release the beta versions of the platform revealing more and more about the new operating system that we will see in September. The latest rumors made a hint that we will see 6 beta versions before the fully functional iOS 7 becomes officially launched.
Yesterday, just few weeks before the big event, Apple has released iOS 7 beta 6 for download from its official website for registered developers. The expectations for the launch date of beta 6 were for Monday, 19th of August based on the tradition of Apple to release the beta versions at the beginning of the week with a time gap of several weeks. The company surprised the developers with the beta 6 launched in Thursday evening.
The new version of the OS is 13.5MB big. According to an official statement by Apple, the beta 6 has been launched earlier to bring fixes for “issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items.” The new update can be installed by developers by going to Settings – General – Software Update or directly from the special website Apple’s Developer Center.
iOS 7 will arrive with new design and revamped by Jony Ive user interface. Forget about the shiny colors and embrace the pastel toned chosen for the new design. Jony Ive has made a big step toward change for iOS by getting rid of the skeumorphic icons. The new OS will bring abundance of features that will improve the user experience and enrich the security of personal data. The official launch date is not confirmed by Apple yet but we all except for it to happen sometime around the introducing of the new handsets by the company.
