Huawei Watch D will arrive in Europe this month
Apple has reportedly tried unsuccessfully to add the ability to detect blood pressure to smartwatches to the Apple Watch. If you’d want to have that capability in a smartwatch, you might be interested to know that the Huawei Watch D will be arriving in Europe on October 12th.
For those who are just knowing about the gadget, the Huawei Watch D was among the first smartwatches to enable blood pressure reading when it was first unveiled in December 2021. Huawei stated at IFA 2022 last month that they would be releasing it in more markets, but they withheld an exact launch date up until this point.
The Watch D operates similarly to a typical blood pressure cuff by incorporating an air pump and air bag inside the watch strap. This is how the Watch D detects blood pressure. Take Huawei’s assertion that it has a very small margin of error of 3 mmHg.
A blood oxygen sensor, an ECG monitor, a 1.64-inch AMOLED display, IP68 certification, GPS, NFC, and a battery life that is reportedly rated for up to 7 days are among the additional features. If you live in Europe, you should be able to get it the next week. It will cost €449.
Huawei Watch D specifications:
- Blood pressure measurement
- ECG analysis
- SpO2 detection
- Up to 7 days of battery life
- Over 70 workout modes
- Smart Life Assistent
- Compatible with iOS & Android
