HTC’s store-within-a-store in Germany
In the strong competition for retail attention and success, the e-giants always find smart tricks to pull out of their sleeves. Like opening a mini-store, for example. Apple did it, Microsoft did it, and Samsung virtually based the Galaxy S III launch on it.
Why not expect the same from HTC?! They surely have their own and well developed stores network in Asia and parts of Europe, yet the smartphone designer has now introduced a store-within-a-store retail option at the giant Saturn-Markt shop in Hamburg, Germany.
In this mini-store customers can buy or test a device like the One X+ or a Windows Phone 8X, as well as some accessories, including Beats headphones; and they have also employed dedicated staff to help at that. The trick looks successful for HTC, and there’s talk at MyDrivers of yet more such stores.
