HTC One Max in red is launched in Taiwan, HTC One gold arrives in UK
HTC One Max in red shell hits the market in Taiwan and HTC One gold is released in the UK
In the beginning of December a leak with HTC One Max in red appeared on the web. The source of the render photos of the new color variant of the device was a promo material of one of the carriers in Taiwan. Although HTC did not confirm the news for the addition of a red shell to the silver variant of the phablet, the leak showed very believable photos and information. We could only wait to see whether the gossip will turn out to be true.
And now we know – the HTC One Max in red shell is launched by the Taiwanese carrier and several other online retailers in the country. The price of the extraordinary model is NT $23900 (equal to $805) SIM-free. The new addition to the HTC One Max family is packed with the same capabilities and features in terms of software and hardware. The red variant of the phablet provides a 5.9-inches screen with a resolution of 1080p. The processor of the device is quad-core 1.7GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset. The red paint on HTC One Max is very similar to its smaller siblings HTC One and HTC One Mini adorned in the same color. From the render photos we see that the red pain covers the whole front and rare panels of the device, including the plastic accents. There is still no clarity whether the red HTC One Max will be introduced to other markets as well or it will be released exclusively in Taiwan.
Other news in color comes from the UK and is related to HTC One. The gold-painted variant of the flagship is officially launched in the country, by the traders Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse. The specs of the new model are the same as the other versions of the handset. The price is also similar – zero down payment and signed two year contract with £29 monthly payment. The carriers that are teamed up with the retailers are T-Mobile, Orange, Vodafone, O2 and EE.
