Get HTC One without contract for £459
The big HTC event yesterday at last announced HTC One and it really proved to be the company’s new flagship. The smartphone has all the necessary features and even more and is really designed to compete fiercely with the other high-end devices.
Now, when the device is officially announced (though its release date is not), we are getting different offers from the big SIM-free retailers. This is a probably a happy day for the owners of pre-orders, because they can get the smartphone (when it gets out) for a sum as small as £459 from Phones4U. Other offers include the £510 price from Clove and £519 from its greatest rival – Expansys.
Phones4U has even released a hands-on video for the most eager clients and is already counting pre-orders. However, consider whether it is a nice idea to buy a smartphone you have never seen, touched and experienced in real life. Don’t forget that what you can see on the Internet and on the screen of your computer is designed and modified in such a way as to make it extremely appealing.
We are not saying that HTC One is not a fabulous phone and it’s worth the price. What we want to suggest is that it’s not a good idea to get something without even testing it. We are sure that the release of the smartphone will be soon and we think it would be better to wait till then – probably neither the price, nor something else would change.
