Rumors and speculations about Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite are getting more and more intensive. It seems that there is news about the affordable version of Galaxy Note 3 every other day in the last weeks. However there is very little information about the upcoming device in order of specs, features and hardware.
The new phablet by Samsung is expected to sport more modest capabilities than its older sibling. One of the most rumored characteristics of the phablet is its display. It is very possible that Galaxy Note 3 Lite will arrive with smaller screen, Thanks to freshly leaked information from the user agent profile UAProf, it seems that the new phablet will boast 720p resolution. According to the source the smartphone with model number SM-N750 (non LTE model) will feature much lower resolution and pixe density than the Galaxy Note 3. The tipster reveals that at the moment Galaxy Note 3 Lite is working on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. We cannot help it but hope that Samsung will upgrade the phablet to Android 4.4 prior launching. Speaking for launching, the new large-sized smartphone is expected to arrive in Q1 2014. The event that might be the stage for the debut of the phone is MWC in February.
The rest of the rumors specs from the leaks until now include an LCD screen which is downgrade from the AMOLED display of the Galaxy Note 3. Its main camera will probably be with 8MP. There are still no clues about the battery or the processor of the new device. The “Lite” in the name certainly hints for more modest specs compared to the original device. In terms of connectivity the leaks until now suggest that we can expect at least two versions of the smartphone – LTE enabled and a Wi-Fi only models. There are few more weeks ahead until the MWC. We will wait and see what the rumor mill will deliver soon.
