Exciting rumors for Sony Xperia Z Google Edition
Both Google Editions recently announced by the big rivals in the mobile world Samsung and HTC made a great impression. However, if you think that this is all you can get from the partnership with Google and the biggest manufacturers, you will be pleasantly surprised by the arrival of the Sony Xperia Z Google Edition. The rumor for this concept first appeared on the AndroidGeeks website for news and today, we got a confirmation from a source in Sony Mobile that the company is indeed taking this path.
The predictions about the new handset are that it will be available on the US market, offered at Google Play Store. The release date of the smartphone is not revealed yet, however there are hints that we will see the new Xperia Z sometime later in the year. The phone will run on stock Android. The combination between the specs of Xperia Z and the remarkable Nexus user experience is promising an outstanding device with great possibilities. A quick reminder about the features of Xperia Z include a fascinating water and dust resistant body, 5.0-inch LCD screen with 1920x1080p, 13MP camera with features like face detection, Geo-tagging, panorama mode, image stabilization and touch focus among others. It can record a full HD video. The handset is packed with 16GB expandable internal memory. It works with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, quad-core and 2 GB RAM.
Will the Sony Xperia Z Google Edition sport the same specs? This is still a mystery. Neither of the companies has revealed more information about the releasing of the phone, like a release date or price. We believe that it will be offered at similar price rate as the two Google Editions of Samsung and HTC. Another prediction about the upcoming handset is that it will receive regular updates, like Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Editions.
