Download the new update of ProShot for Windows Phone 8
If you need even more features and functions for your Windows Phone 8 camera, you will probably find useful ProShot. It is a very popular app for photography and the good news for those who already use it is that the developers released an update for the app that will improve even more its performance.
After the update your version of ProShot will be 2.6.5 and your camera experience will be boosted. The Live tiles of the app will be improved and, where needed, fixed and we will see better manual focus and some of the known bugs fixed. The developers have also added a new feature – browsing in Full HD resolution, which will allow you to see your pictures with a better quality on your Windows Phone.
However, there is something we do not understand fully. The change log with the update states that ‘EXIF is back’. What does this mean? The EXIF information is still where it used to be – embedded in the image file. We could not find a way to view it from inside the app. There was probably some bug related to the EXIF.
If you own a Nokia Windows Phone 8 handset, you will see that the option for manual control of the white balance is removed from the new version as the phone hardware does not support it. The owners of Samsung ATIV S will probably be disappointed to find out that their device is not yet compatible with the app yet.
If you already use ProShot, surely you will head right away to update it. For those of you who found out about the app just now, you can purchase it for $1.99 and take full control of your camera.
