BlackBerry X10 – featuring a physical QWERTY
Earlier we posted pictures showing the new BlackBerry Z10 with a totally virtual touch-screen QWERTY keyboard. Since however there are many who would never give up the feeling of typing on a physical keyboard, the BlackBerry N-Series was devised especially for them.
New information has appeared to show BlackBerry 10 handsets with a physical QWERTY, and these will be known as the BlackBerry X10. Here we have three pictures of the ‘Berry X10 to show you.
As you see, the new series of the ‘physical’ berries has kept and even improved the logical convenience the RIM’s devices are famous for. The lock screen on the phone has a link to the camera, and also shows the number of received messages as well as the number of upcoming events. The screen can actually display up to 8 applications at a time, and the bottom of the panel serves as a launcher for the phone, search, and camera. The phone is also rumoured to have a resolution of 720 x 720 and an OLED display.
The BlackBerry X10 is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2013.
