BlackBerry Storm2 9550
BlackBerry Storm2 9550 released in November 2009 is a different phone than the 9550 model. Though it has almost the same dimensions (112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm) the new model weighs 5 grams more that its predecessor. The main difference is the incorporation of the four physical buttons into the screen itself. The phone includes the Piezo technology for a great user experience so accidental key pressing is completely eliminated. The phone has a 3.25 inch screen with a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels. Sadly it offers just 65k colors though it is much easier to click due to its SurePress technology. Blackberry Storm 9550 runs the BlackBerry 5.0 OS which is an incremental step forward for the company. The mobile OS now supports threaded text messaging, multi touch text selection, updated boxes and other improvements. The phonebook and the organizer are easy and straightforward to use – you can save unlimited number of contacts. The phone comes with 2 GB of internal storage and a microSD slot. On the back side you will find a 3.2 MP camera with geo tagging and image stabilization. The phone is well-equipped with wireless connectivity options – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G support are included. | |
