AT&T now with new tiered voice plans for the new-commers
AT&T has dropped tiered voice plans for new customers this basically means that if you are not a new user, who will have to sign up to that, while signing the new contract anyway, you will have to get used to the new conditions and prices that will hit you soon.
Those who would have signed up for a lower priced tiered voice plan, tough luck guys, with capped minutes are now made to pay a higher price for the unlimited talk time even if it is not something that the client needs or requires. However, if you are running on a family plan you will not notice any changes.
The bottom line here is that all new AT&T subscribers will pay about $95 per line for a smartphone. If you are looking for the light at the end of the tunnel we can at least say that the plans will not go into effect until October 25th. You have something like 2 weeks to sign up with AT&T and keep your tiered minutes. When the date hits new AT&T customers will have to join the 13 million Mobile Share subscribers.
Now that we have mentioned it we should remind you what is Mobile Share all about. Unlimited talk and text along with 300MB data for $50 a month if you have a basic device or $70 a month for a smartphone are the basic characteristics that go with the Mobile Share plan. After you have signed for the Mobile Share plan you can then add the needed data that you feel like will satisfy your needs.
For now this is the situation and AT&T claims that their plan in 95% of the cases offers more value than the now available plans for a lower price. This is up to the customers to decide.
