Apple is preparing a big event on 22nd of October
Are you ready to see in real the new generation tablets by Apple? Ready or not, they are coming on the exact date of 22nd of October, or at least this is what the whole mobile world is expecting to see. The mobile giant is already sending invitations for the big event scheduled for 22nd of October. This day is promising to be significant for the tech world as two of the biggest companies are holding their events, Apple and Nokia. On the invitations sent by Apple is written “We still have a lot to cover.” The event will take place 22nd of October in Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, California at 10:00 am. Apple has not confirmed its exact plans for the announcement of the new devices, but we are pretty certain that in just 6 days from now we will see the next generation full-sized Apple iPad tablet and the iPad mini as well. Thanks to the numerous rumors and leaks from the last weeks we have a very good idea of what the new slates are going to offer. The Apple iPad 5 will arrive in lighter and thinner design compared to the current full-sized tablet. It will sport a slightly changed design with thinner bezels and rounded edges that will resemble the appearance of the iPad mini line. The display of iPad 5 will be 9.7-inches with a resolution of 1536x20148p.
There were rumors that the announcement of Apple iPad mini 2 might be delayed because of delays in the manufacturing process. Hopefully the last weeks have gone by plan for Apple and we will see the new iPad mini just 6 days from now. The expectations for the device include a significant improvement of the resolution to the 1536x2048p which is the same resolution of the iPad 4. There are rumors that the new small tablet will sport a Retina display. Among the most impressive and advanced features of the tablets are the fingerprint sensors integrated in them, similar to the Touch ID of iPhone 5S.
