Another world released for the owners of BlackBerry Z10
One of the saddest things with smartphones is the coming of a new era of apps and games which eliminates the old but good games we played in our childhood. However, there are people that try to bring some of the classic games back to life and integrate them with the new OS systems of the phones. One of them is Eric Chahi and his game ‘Another world’ is now available for BlackBerry Z10 devices and for PlayBook.
The version of the game is not a random one, but the edition for its 20th Anniversary. The version is characterized with better quality of the graphics, updated soundtrack and a few gesture controls. This is the first of several titles that are planned to be introduced to BB10.
Xavier Liard, DotEmu CEO says that the next game that is planned to be announced is the extremely difficult shooter R-type. Asked about other titles, he said nothing is for sure, but if the popularity and demand continues, there would be more games adapted for the system.
It’s a good thing to know you can go back to your childhood one way or another, and it’s also nice that our kids will receive the opportunity to try the games we were once fond of. However, the price of ‘Another world’ is $5, which is a buck more than the iOS version. Some Internet users already mocked the price, expressing the opinion that melancholy is expensive.
