Android 4.3 Jelly Bean rolling out for Sony Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z
Sony Smart Social Camera to arrive to other devices different than Xperia Z1
Only a few weeks earlier, Sony announced the great news that Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra owners will receive a cup of jelly beans. The whole thing came with some teasing that the Android 4.3 update will roll out for all the Sony Xperia devices that remain to get the sweet taste of it. As Sony claimed, that it was ‘right around the corner’, we can happily report that the Japanese phone maker is true to its words and it looks like the desired update is being confirmed to finally arrive for additional devices.
Right now, owners of the following device can rejoice as the Jelly Bean will roll out on their beloved gadgets: Sony Xperia Z, Sony Xperia ZL, Sony Xperia ZR and Sony Xperia Tablet Z. The roll out has already begun, as few friends of mine who own an Xperia Z are already exploring the new interface, though as usual, the timing as well as the availability might vary by carrier and maker. In plain English, just because the process has started, doesn’t mean it has arrived for all carriers at once, so you’ll have to be patient.
What you’ll be getting is the smoothness of Project Butter as well as few new Sony specifics that will be included in the update, like Sony Smart Social Camera to arrive to other devices different than Xperia Z1. More cool additions will bring to you the best Sony Media apps such as WALKMAN, Movies and Album along with the native app collection of Sony to be updated to its latest version.
In a reminder, the collection includes Smart Connect, Small apps, MyXperia, Messaging, Sony Select and TrackID. Moreover, the cup of Jelly Beans will treat your devices with an updated Battery Stamina Mode and ‘the latest in Android security enhancements’.
Since that pretty much sounds like a tasty trailer, the only way to end will be with: Coming Soon.
