Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch comes to customers
The new Amazon Kindle Fire HD is Amazon’s move in the advancing tablet world.
The market for PC tablets is constantly growing. One area that is seeing even stronger growth is the more affordable sector. It is not therefore a surprise that Amazon has revealed their Amazon Kindle Fire HD. It takes aim at its rivals in two screen sizes. One of the versions has a 7-inch display, and the other is with a 8.9-inch display.
The larger Amazon Kindle Fire HD has a amazing 1920×1200 pixel resolution. It is using IPS LCD display technology providing 254PPI.
With regard to vision, it should be noted that Amazon Kindle Fire HD works no air gap between the glass on the front and the display. This means that the users shall enjoy clearer images with less glare.
Both new devices run on an OMAP 4 4470 dual core processor, claimed by Amazon to be better than the Nvidia’s Tegra 3.
