Alcatel One Touch Fierce spotted in new entry in the database of FCC
A new Android running smartphone Alcatel branded is on its way to the official announcement soon. The rumors for the upcoming device Alcatel One Touch Fierce come from the database of FCC (Federal Communications Commission) where the phone was included in one of the recent entries in the database. The juicy leak contains not only information about the specs of the smartphone but also a set of pictures that give us a good idea for the appearance of the handset.
The FCC entry reveals that the new smartphone is getting ready to arrive at T-Mobile. The Alcatel One Touch Fierce will run on Android 4.1.2 OS. It will support microSD cards and Wi-Fi calling. Some of the other features include Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. The pictures show three capacitive buttons for navigation at the bottom front side of the device. We can see the camera module on the back – 5MP shooter. The new phone will work with a non-removable 1800mAh battery under the hood. The phone will sport a sleek body with touchscreen display. However it is still unknown what the size or the resolution of the screen will be.
The so described specs give the impression that the Alcatel One Touch Fierce will compete on the arena of the middle range devices. Neither Alcatel nor T-Mobile has confirmed the existence of the handset. However with the approval of FCC it seems we will not wait for much longer until it officially arrives at T-Mobile. The support for Wi-Fi calling and the microSD slot do give some advantage to the device before the various Android running phones in this category. The depicted Fierce is “dressed” in a nice black shell with matte back panel. It is still a mystery what color options will be offered for the phone. We are looking forward to know more about the launch date and the enter price of the device. It is pretty certain that Alcatel Touch Fierce will be offered by T-Mobile, but where else it will be distributed? We will share with you when we find out.
