Acer Liquid Z3 is the newest low-cost Android running device
As far as we know, Acer is planning to release an impressive modern smartphone that runs on Android and sports an impressive set of features, packed in a compact body. The company did actually release a new handset; however it seems far away from the concept for a smashing high-end device. The newly unveiled device is Acer Liquid Z3. It arrives in a small and compact body with a 3.5-inch display and runs on Android OS. Unfortunately the rest of the specs of the device make us think that this is not the flagship that Acer is preparing, but is a nice entry-level smartphone that will satisfy the needs of the not pretentious users.
What will Acer Liquid Z3 bring to its owners? It works with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, the chipset remains unknown. It boasts a 3.5-inch screen with good but not excellent resolution. It is assured with 4GB internal memory. The new device is equipped with 3MP primary camera on the back. The handset supports dual-SIM. Its pocket-sized panel is among the advantages of the new phone by Acer. It sports a body that measures 109 millimeters in length on 60 millimeters in width and only 10.4 millimeters in thickness. Liquid Z3 weighs just 120 grams. The new device will make a good competition of Sony Xperia E and HTC Desire 200. It works with several modes, including Basic Mode (supports the prime functions of a phone – call and text), Senior Mode – provides more features, including clock, weather, radio.. etc, Classic mode – perfect for inexperienced users of modern smartphones and the Keypad mode, the excellent solution for those of you who prefer to manage the device via voice and need an instant access to their keypad.
The low price of Liquid Z3 makes the pin-sized device more attractive. It can be purchased for $132 which is equal to €99 offered at European retailers. It works over the relatively new OS build Android 4.2 which completes the advantages of the smartphone. It will be offered in two color versions – white and black. The expected launch date of the phone should be in August. It will be distributed in several countries in Europe, including Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, Spain, UK, Germany, and France. The company will offer a nice set of accessories for the new device, including back covers, flip covers etc.
