Acer Bulgari tablet with 11.6-inch display and Windows 8 coming in June?
According to TechBlog, Acer will introduce a new Windows 8 tablet next month. The tablet named “Bulgari” supposedly has a 11.6-inch Retinal screen and an Intel Haswell processor. The reliable source claims that the new Windows tablet featuring the last generation Intel i3 Core Haswell chipset will be launched in June.
The Greek site reveals even more details about the upcoming Acer Bulgari. The device will sport an LCD IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440p and it features an 8 – megapixel camera. The other specs include 4 GB of RAM on board, 64 GB of internal memory plus a microSD slot for additional storage. As we mentioned earlier, the processor will be the new generation i3 Core, Haswell which promises a completely new user experience. That means all manufacturers need to adapt their products to accommodate the new chipset. One of the manufacturers working intensively is Microsoft, reportedly developing a new Surface RT version, as well as smaller version of the tablet.
If we compare all Windows tablets on the market with relevant Android and iOS products, we can see that the main disadvantage of the Windows powered tablets is the screen resolution. While a resolution of 1080p and higher has become pretty common for the other tablets, Windows based models are lagging behind. In the new rumors, Acer Bulgari will have a Retina like display, or the company will try to compete with the main rivals, putting the Bulgari tablet in the same league in terms of display resolution.
Please, bear in mind that all this information about the future Acer Bulgari is based on rumors and speculations and could be not so reliable, but we will make sure to inform you on time if some official information appears.
