iPhone 5 smashing sales results
iPhone 5 is holding the record for presently best-selling smartphone. In a Press Release the company states that the iPhone 5 has hit over 2 million pre-orders in the first 24 hours after it went available.
To confirm the sales record, data have been compared with the sales of iPhone 4S which had “just” 1 million pre-orders in its first 24 hours, while iPhone 4 got the “modest” 600000 in 2010. Even though Apple’s newest device is offered on more markets than its predecessors, its sales results are really smashing.
