A new gaming portable for Android with 5G capabilities is called the Razer Edge 5G
When Verizon announced a collaboration with Razer and Qualcomm during a presentation at Mobile World Congress Las Vegas, the news grabbed attention. The agreement will result in the Razer Edge 5G, which Verizon claims to be the first Android-powered 5G gaming portable in the world.

One of the largest connectivity conferences in North America is Mobile World Congress Las Vegas. A few Verizon execs took the stage today to introduce the Razer Edge 5G. The handheld was created in collaboration with Qualcomm and Razer, and according to Verizon, it will be fully unveiled on October 15 at RazerCon.
Verizon has not revealed many specifics as of yet, although the firm did say that the device will employ Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3X Gen 1 gaming architecture. Additionally, according to Verizon, the Razer Edge 5G will let you download, stream, or play games directly from the cloud.
Qualcomm unveiled a comparable all-in-one gaming gadget in late 2021, although it was only a prototype at the time and lacked a name. The new gadget Verizon unveiled today is probably the refined version of the one Qualcomm revealed a year ago.
The handheld gaming business certainly seemed to be growing very crowded these days. Now, the Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld and the new streaming system from Logitech must compete with the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. Although Verizon and Logitech are introducing fresh competition, it is still unclear whether these new handhelds will be able to compete in a market dominated by giants of the sector like Nintendo and Valve.
